2000 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-016

Description

Covering the broadest vertical zone among the year 2000 column #7 varieties, the Lincoln Memorial Cent DDR-016 exhibits a medium westward spread creating a ghost column at position number 7 from the seated Lincoln statue's elbow all the way down to the pedestal. This elbow-to-pedestal span encompasses virtually the entire column height visible alongside the seated figure, distinguishing DDR-016 from the companion 2000 DDR-005, which covers only the elbow-to-shin zone on a different working die. Die markers UVC-3111 and DMR-018 identify this die, carrying the RDV-007 reverse die variety designation. Three die stages are documented: Stage A with both reverse and obverse in early die state, Stage B tentatively in mid-die state (unconfirmed), and Stage C tentatively in late die state (unconfirmed).
