Twelfth in the reverse doubled die census for the 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent, DDR-012 displays medium spread with slight counterclockwise rotation, producing an extra doubled column number 7 visible from the hand to the shin of the seated Lincoln figure within Frank Gasparro's memorial facade. VarietyVista documented this die under UVC-3107 and DMR-014, tracking three die stages: Stage A where the reverse is at early die state with a die chip developing between the lower portions of RT in LIBERTY at early-to-mid die state (EMDS), Stage B at mid die state (unconfirmed), and Stage C at late die state (unconfirmed). The die chip between the lower RT of LIBERTY serves as a valuable secondary identification marker on the obverse, allowing collectors to confirm the correct die marriage before examining the reverse for the phantom column doubling. The slight counterclockwise rotational component adds complexity to the displacement geometry, curving the trajectory of the secondary hub impression rather than shifting it purely westward.
