Description
ADC-1c-2000-02 is an atypical die clash on a 2000-P Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. MDC's overlay shows the dies met somewhat out of position. On the obverse, CENT's T and the Memorial's base left marks, and so did the bays. On the reverse, Lincoln's chin left a mark, his eye socket and upper nose clashed below the Memorial base, and parts of his jacket and sleeve clashed into EPU of the motto and the upper roof. The coin is in Alex Helzel's collection.
