1999 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-018

Description

1999-D WDDR-018 is a doubled die reverse on the 1999-D Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. On the seventh column, right of the statue, an extended bar starts at the upper hand and ends at the lower knee. Wexler notes no obverse markers. On the reverse, die chips lie left of the Memorial base, and another chip sits left of both the left cornice and the top of the first column. A chip is down and left of the I in UNITED. A short scratch drops south from the base of the first U in PLURIBUS, and a chip is inside the upper right of the first U in UNUM. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
