Column-area doubling on Memorial reverses creates linear artifacts that stand out against the building's precisely rendered architectural framework, making this class of DDR particularly approachable for beginning variety collectors. Reverse die markers assist in confirming attribution: a die chip on the bottom of the left side crossbar of the T in CENT, a die scratch touching the bottom of the L in PLURIBUS, and a die chip touching the left side of the I in AMERICA.
