Description
1999-D WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 1999-D Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. A partial extra column, strongly tilted, passes through the statue's feet. Wexler records no significant obverse markers. On the reverse, there is die pitting between the U and N of UNITED. CENT carries several markers: a short vertical scratch right of the bottom of the T; a short, almost vertical scratch between the N and the T; a small gouge touching the diagonal bar of the N at its upper left; and a small gouge left of the N's center. William Slaughter submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
