1998 Atypical Die Clash ADC-1C-1998-01-MAD-OBV

Description

ADC-1c-1998-01 (MAD, Obv.) To the left is a 1998 Lincoln cent with about a 5% misaligned die (MAD) cutting off the top of N GOD W. The coin also shows multiple staggered clashes; almost too many to count. There are at least five sets of clash marks. The stairs of the memorial, which are rarely seen in a clash are present under Lincoln’s nose.
