Description
Bar extended from the top of the shoulder to the upper leg to the right of the statue on the seventh column. Die Markers: Obverse: Crisscrossing die scratches are present in front of Lincoln’s face and neck and behind Lincoln’s neck. Reverse: Crisscrossing multidirectional die scratches are present throughout the memorial bays. A heavy die gouge is present to the right of the lower N of ONE. Die gouge present below the left side of C of CENT. Small die gouges are present right of the N of CENT. Heavy die scratches run NE/SW through the right memorial base and FG. A die gouge is present southeast of the second dot above the memorial roof.
