1996 Typical Die Clash TDC-50C-1996-01
Error
Description
TDC-50c-1996-01 This coin shows unabraded die clash marks on both the obverse and reverse. The first picture shows the clash marks left by the rays surrounding the eagle’s head. The long clash mark is left by the banner containing E PLURIBUS UNUM. The second picture shows the clash mark in Kennedy’s ear from the left wing of the eagle. The only clash mark seen on the reverse is the clash left by the lower part of Kennedy’s ear. This die is easily recognized by the large die crack on the lower part of Kennedy’s bust that travels to the rim between the 1 and 9 of the date.
