1992 Atypical Die Clash ADC-1C-1992-01

Description

ADC-1c-1992-01 Illustrated below is a 1992 with strong clash marks on both obverse and reverse dies. When the clash occurred the obverse was rotated about 3% CCW. You can see many of the memorial bays, the base, parts of the roof , and even fragments of EPU coming through Lincoln’s coat. On the reverse you can see a portrait outline, TY from LIBERTY, beard details, a small fragment from the date and the back of Lincoln’s jacket. Coin was found by Louis Schaeffer.
