1991 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-004

Description

1991 WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 1991 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Extra columns show in the first and second Memorial bays. On the obverse, a gouge sits above the E in LIBERTY, a small gouge lies inside the upper loop of the first 9, and another small gouge is just under the upper loop of the second 9. On the reverse, a scratch rises north from the Memorial roof, passing along the first U of UNUM on its left side and along the P of PLURIBUS on its right side. Tony Russo submitted the variety. Crawford lists it as CDDR-002. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
