1991 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-003

Description

1991 WDDR-003 is a doubled die reverse on the 1991 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the lower left side of the seventh Memorial column, right of the statue's lower legs. On the obverse, a gouge lies south of the BE in LIBERTY, and a strong gouge sits left of the U in TRUST, near its base. Above the left side of the second 9 in the date there is another gouge. On the reverse, a vertical gouge sits at the top of the ninth bay. William Slaughter submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
