1990 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-009

Description

1990 WDDR-009 is a doubled die reverse on the 1990 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Bays 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the Memorial show extra columns or partial extra columns from a spread to the west. On the obverse, two gouges lie north of the IB in LIBERTY. On the reverse, a gouge sits right of the bottom of the second A in AMERICA, and another lies halfway between the base of that A and the F in FG. Billy G. Crawford submitted the variety. Crawford lists it as CDDR-004. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
