1990 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-006

Description

1990 WDDR-006 is a doubled die reverse on the 1990 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Extra columns appear in the ninth and tenth Memorial bays. On the obverse, from the W in WE, at its upper left, a scratch curves NNW to the rim, and another heads north from the top of the second T in TRUST. NE of the 0 in the date there is a gouge. On the reverse, a small gouge (dot) sits under the left side of the first U in UNUM, and a gouge lies under the far end of the right Memorial base. SE of the tip of that base, a scratch extends from the rim. Tony Russo submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
