Description
A spread towards the rim shows very well on EPU and the dots, the lower letters of USA, the upper letters of ONE CENT especially the NT of CENT, the designer’s initials, and slightly on the shrubbery on both sides of the steps. Die Markers: Obverse: Light die scratches run NNE from the upper LIB of LIBERTY. A light die scratch runs NW/SE through the upper loop of the second nine in the date. Reverse: A small die gouge can be found above the tip of the right cornice. Die cracks run down the first two Memorial columns. Obverse:
