A close spread shows on the designer’s initials, the lower second A in AMERICA, the upper N in ONE, and the upper N in CENT. Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs SW/NE above the one in the date. A die scratch runs WSW/ENE in the field to the right of the chin. Other die scratches can be found throughout the obverse. Reverse: A small die gouge (dot) can be found SE of the I in UNITED.
