1988 Type I Counter Clash CCLTI-1C-1988-04

Description

CCL(TI)-1c-1988-04 This is a simple dual event reverse die clash found on a 1988 P Lincoln cent. Since the obverse does not show signs of abrasion or clash marks, it is surmised that the die was changed out for a new obverse die. This coin is in the collection of Rock Hasenberg. The image to the left shows the two clash events (indicated by white arrows) and the counterclashed column (indicted by the black arrow).
