1988 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-002

Description

A spread towards the rim shows on the lower letters of USA while extra thickness shows on USA, EPU, and the dots. On USA the lower serifs show notching while on EPU most of the extra thickness is on the left letters and dots. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge can be found inside the upper loop of the nine. Two weak die scratches run south under the one in the date. Reverse: Short die gouges protrude from the center left and upper left of the A in STATES. Obverse:
