1985 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

A strong spread towards the center shows on the date, IGWT, the hair at the top of the head, the right bottom of the bust, and the LI in LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: A short vertical die scratch can be found to the right of the first T in TRUST. Reverse: A short diagonal die gouge can be found SW of the E in EPU. A short diagonal die scratch can be found below the second Memorial column. A die clash mark can be found in the lower third bay. Numerous E/W die scratches can be found above and below the Memorial.
