Description
TDC-1c-1984-01 This 1984 Lincoln cent is a simple clash event with the familar 5° seen between the clash marks and the actual strike. This coin comes to the site courtesy of Jeo Koelling. The images to the left show the clash marks that were transfered to the obverse die from the reverse ide. A partial letter Y from the word LIBERTY can be seen in bay 2. The back of Lincoln’s head can bee seen clashed below the left base line of the Memorial building. Lincoln’s forehead can be seen clashed below the right URN The 1 digit from the date can be seen clashed above the right side Memorial roof line.
