Description
TDC-1c-1984-01 is a typical die clash on a 1984 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. It is a simple clash, with the 5° offset MDC often sees between clash marks and strike. MDC pictures the marks the reverse die put on the obverse. On the reverse, part of LIBERTY's Y sits in bay 2, the back of the head left a mark under the Memorial's left base line, his forehead clashed below the right urn, and the 1 of the date shows above the right side of the roof line.
