1984 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-010

Description

1984 WDDR-010 is a doubled die reverse on the 1984 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. A slight spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and to a lesser degree on E PLURIBUS UNUM. On the obverse, a small gouge (dot) lies on the front of the vest, left of the base of the 1 in the date. On the reverse, a small gouge sits under the O in OF and another gouge under the TE of UNITED, and many scratches, mostly running west to east, cover the reverse. Whaden Curtis submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
