1984 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-008

Description

1984 WDDR-008 is a doubled die reverse on the 1984 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. A slight spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the designer's initials. On the obverse, a scratch heads ENE from the I's top across the top of the N in IN, and many scratches, mostly SW/NE, lie on both sides of the bust. On the reverse, a small gouge sits between the top of ONE's E and the top of CENT's C. Whaden Curtis submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
