1984 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Atypical Die Clash ADC-1C-1984-03

Description

ADC-1c-1984-03 is an atypical die clash on a 1984-P Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. It is a very strong, unabraded clash on both the obverse and reverse dies, with the dies tilted 2° to each other. The marks of most interest come from the date's 19 and from the front of Lincoln's jacket. Strong clashes on Lincoln cents usually transfer part of LIBERTY, especially RTY, but here no letters from LIBERTY show, which suggests one die was tilted oddly when they met.
