1983 Typical Die Clash TDC-5C-1983-02

Description

TDC-5c-1983-02 This is a typical die clash found on the Jefferson nickel. The M and last O of Monticello can be seen as clash marks on the obverse. The outline of Jefferson’s head can be seen clashed into the reverse die. What doe make this die clash even a bit more unusual than most is the addition of the cud; CU-5c-1983-02. This coin is in the collection of Fred Weinberg.
