1983 (P) Jefferson Nickel - Atypical Die Clash ADC-5C-1983-05

Description

ADC-5c-1983-05 is an atypical die clash on a 1983-P Jefferson nickel, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. On the obverse, part of the F of FIVE shows in the field by Jefferson's forehead, and the lower left base of the building lies in the field left of the R in LIBERTY. On the reverse, Jefferson's lapel shows left of the dome and his queue right of it; the front of his head runs from the base of the building through the FI of FIVE, and the back of his head sits in the field right of the final O of MONTICELLO. The coin is in Kevin Mader's collection.
