Description
CU-1C-1981-12 is a cud on the 1981 Lincoln Memorial cent. Each of these twelve entries occupies a unique position in the rim break spectrum — some may be small chips confined to a narrow arc, while others might extend across significant portions of the rim, obliterating letters or portions of the design. CU-1C-1981-12 was verified as distinct through positional analysis that confirmed its break did not overlap with any of the eleven previously cataloged entries. The 1981 Philadelphia cent was struck from 95% copper planchets at 3.1 grams, the final full year for this specification before the dramatic 1982 composition change. Attribution by Cuds on Coins.
