Description
Reaching the eighth confirmed entry, CU-1C-1981-08 adds depth to the 1981 Philadelphia cud census at a pace that reflects both high production volume and the persistent efforts of error coin searchers who continue to discover new varieties decades after these coins were struck. CU-1C-1981-08 was verified through geometric comparison against all seven preceding entries. The coin was struck from the 95% copper alloy at the Philadelphia Mint in the final year before the 1982 composition change, and it carries no mint mark. Attribution by Cuds on Coins.
