1974 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Typical Die Clash TDC-1C-1974D-02-LD

Description

TDC-1c-1974D-02 (LD) is a typical die clash on a 1974-D Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. It is a moderately strong clash, not abraded, from a die tilted 2°. Bays 3 and 4 left a strong mark on the obverse, with the right arm of LIBERTY's Y projecting into the bay, and bay 9 shows below Lincoln's nose. On the reverse, a small piece of the Y's right arm sits in bay 3, bay 4 holds the back of Lincoln's neck, and his head's back edge clashed below the steps. MDC gives an overlay of the die positions.
