TDC-1c-1974D-02 (LD) This 1974D Lincoln cent shows a moderately strong, unabraded , tilted die (2°) clash. The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when they did clash. The picture to the left show a strong clash mark left by bay 3 and 4. Notice that the letter Y has its right arm sticking out into the bay. Bay 9 is seen clashed under Lincoln’s nose. Notice the small piece of the right arm of the Y in bay 3. The back of Lincoln’s neck is seen in bay 4 and the back of his head is clashed below the steps.
