1974-D Atypical Die Clash ADC-1C-1974D-02LD

Description

ADC-1c-1974D-02(LD) Below is a 1974-D Large Date Lincoln cent showing strong clash marks on both the obverse and reverse. From the strength of the marks it appears there was a tilt of the hammer (obverse) die toward the southern portion of the anvil (reverse) die leaving strong marks in that region: parts of ONE above the head as well as a near complete hairline through ONE CENT on the reverse are atypical. This clash was found by Aisha Shahid.
