Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA constant spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM.  A closer spread toward the center shows on STATES OF AMERICA and ELLO of MONTICELLO where it increases from left to right and on the top and right side of the building. Die Markers: Obverse: Small short vertical die gouge in field at top of head; small die gouge at rim between N of IN and G of GOD. Reverse: Small die gouge (dot) to lower left of C of CENTS.
