Description
TDC-50c-1971D-01 is a typical die clash on a 1971-D Kennedy half dollar, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. A ray from the reverse shows in the field above the D of GOD, and the left edge of the eagle's wing in the field behind Kennedy's neck. On the reverse, the back edge of Kennedy's head left a mark in the field between the arrows and the eagle's left wing. The obverse of the coin also has a retained cud, listed on Cuds on Coins as RCD-50c-1971D-01. It is in Chuck Newman's collection.
