Description

TDC-50c-1971D-01 This is a typical die clash that is seen on a 1971-D Kennedy half dollar. This coin is in the collection of Chuck Newman and also has a retained cud on the obverse. See RCD-50c-1971D-01 in the cuds-on-coins.com site. One of the rays from the reverse can be seen clashed into the field over the D of GOD. The left edge of the eagle’s wing can be seen clashed into the field behind Kennedy’s neck. The back edge of Kennedy’s head can be seen clashed into the field between the eagle’s left wing and the arrows.
