The 1970 (S) Proof Roosevelt Dime is a proof dime struck at the San Francisco Mint, part of the Roosevelt Dimes Clad and Silver Proof 1965 to Date series. With a mintage of 2.6 million, this is an extremely rare issue — the higher-mintage of the two mint variants, representing 0% of production. The obverse features Franklin D. Roosevelt facing left, honoring the president who championed the March of Dimes and the reverse displays a torch flanked by olive and oak branches, symbolizing liberty, peace, and strength.
