Description
TDC-1c-1969D-01 is a typical die clash on a 1969-D Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. The left edge of the Memorial's cornice and the top of bay 1 show in the field below LIBERTY. A mark made by the field and the Memorial roof line projects from Lincoln's jacket lapel into the foot of the date's 1. On the reverse, the field and Lincoln's back left a mark running from the foot of UNITED's E to the top of the cornice on the left side. MDC gives an overlay of the approximate die positions. The coin belongs to Vivien Bullard.
