Designated CU-1C-1966-11, this eleventh cud variety for the 1966 Lincoln cent demonstrates the depth of the cud population for this high-mintage date. Cuds are classified within the broader category of retained and displaced die breaks, and their position along the rim is what defines them specifically as cuds rather than interior die chips or die cracks.
