Description
The 1966 Lincoln Memorial Cent is part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series; more than one Mint facility struck coins dated 1966, all without a mint mark. The Mint struck 2,185,886,200 cents dated 1966 for circulation, none with a mint mark. The obverse features Abraham Lincoln facing right and the reverse displays the Lincoln Memorial building in Washington, D.C. No mint marks this year. Special Mint Set coins continued replacing proof sets. Estimated market value ranges from $0.02 to $1 depending on grade and condition. Struck in 95% copper, 5% zinc, weighing 3.11 grams, 19.05 mm in diameter, with a plain edge. Cataloged as PCGS #2898.
