Description

1965 WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 1965 Washington quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. A Class IV spread, directed south, shows on LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and the date, and also on the eye, the head's top, the queue, and the hair detail at the back of the head. On the obverse, a short scratch heads south from the nose. On the reverse, a crack runs from the E of AMERICA at its upper right, through the top of the R, to the rim.
