Error
Description
A very close CCW spread shows on ONE DIME from a pivot at 12:00. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die chip (dot) above the eyelid. Small die chip (dot) about left center inside the R of LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: Die chip above the eyelid still present. Die chip inside the R is gone. Cluster of die gouges right of the right leg of the R in LIBERTY. Reverse Stage A: Heavy die gouge hanging from the left underside of the first T in STATES. Wavy die gouge west from the lower band of the torch holder and above the mint mark. Die chip (dot) centered between the I and M of DIME. Die gouge above the right side of the B in PLURIBUS. Reverse Stage B: Weaker dot at the D in DIME. Weaker gouge at the T in STATES. All other Stage A markers abraded away. Long die scratch south from the B in PLURIBUS through the mint mark. Many N/S die scratches throughout the olive branch. Die crack from the rim at 3:15 and running WNW through the C in AMERICA.
