Description
1964-D WDDR-011 is a doubled die reverse on the 1964-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A clockwise (CW) spread pivoting at 8:30 appears on the right dot and OF AMERICA. A scratch runs NNE from the top center of the date's 6, scratches run NW from the profile to LIBERTY, and the nose's bridge has a die clash. On the reverse, a NNW scratch starts at the left side of UNUM's first U and crosses the second dot of E PLURIBUS UNUM and the lower acorn on its way to the torch holder. A series of NE scratches links the top oak leaf's right side with AMERICA's E. Joe Feld submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
