Description
1964-D WDDR-007 is a doubled die reverse on the 1964-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A spread toward the center appears on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DIME, E PLU, NUM of UNUM, the flames atop the torch, and the outer olive and oak leaves. Obverse Stage A has a Blunt Tail 9, a small gouge left of the lower part of LIBERTY's B, and a gouge over the hair's front curl; Obverse Stage B is the same. Wexler records no significant markers for Reverse Stage A. Reverse Stage B adds a gouge over the top olive and a scratch curving NW from the top left of ONE's E. Frank Baumann submitted Stage A and John A. Wexler Stage B. Wexler lists no cross-references.
