Description

The eighteenth doubled die reverse for the 1964-D Roosevelt Dime, DDR-018 displays light spread on UNITED, ONE DIME, and AMERICA — a different set of doubled elements than DDR-004, which affects STATES OF AMERICA and the torch flame. Die markers include UVC-474 and DMR-022, with Stage A confirmed in early-to-mid die state for both reverse and obverse. This pointed-versus-blunt distinction in the numeral 9 is one of the most useful quick-sort tools for attributing 1964-D varieties, allowing collectors to narrow the candidate list before examining finer die markers.
