Description
The 1964-D Doubled Die Reverse DDR-010 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1964 (D) Roosevelt Dime, part of the Roosevelt Silver Dimes 1946-1964 series. Die markers: UVC-465 DMR-013 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Die crack from lower torch through I to M of DIME – MDS Die crack from rim North through M of DIME to Right stem Die chip on nose – MDS Die crack across upper hair Die crack head to rim at K-1 Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Obverse is ODV-011 (blunt 9).
