Three die states trace the reverse die's progression: Stage A in early to mid-die state (EMDS) with a medium depression developing on the nose of the obverse die, Stage B with the reverse in MDS showing a die chip on the nose and a die crack extending from the head to the rim at the K-1 clock position, and Stage C in late die state (unconfirmed). The progressive deterioration documented across stages — from nose depression to die chip to die crack — illustrates the typical failure cascade that working dies experience under sustained production stress. The obverse die is identified as ODV-011, characterized by a blunt 9 in the date, providing a key diagnostic for attributing this die pair even when the reverse doubling is indistinct.
