Description
The 1964-D Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-020 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1964 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: Obverse: Strong die scratch NE from upper left B in LIBERTY. Reverse: Die scratch (crack) east inside O in ONE. Strong, horizontal die scratch midway between the memorial and E in ONE and C in CENT. Short die scratch south from under lower left memorial. Die crack on right cornice. Doubled die clash marks under lower right memorial.
