Description

The 1964-D Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-007 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1964 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: Obverse: Heavy die scratches through ERTY in LIBERTY. Reverse: Die gouges right of lower O and inside upper right N in ONE. Die dot (gouge) left of C in CENT. Short, heavy die gouge under step just to the right of Lincoln. Die scratches on roof above fourth column and tenth column. Die clash marks over upper right memorial and below lower left memorial.
