Description

A close CCW spread from a pivot at about 10:00 shows on the bottom of the date and the underside of the bowtie. Die Markers: Obverse: A short, diagonal die gouge can be found to the right of the top of the N of IN. A die gouge (dot) can be found just above the hair midway between the E of WE and the 1st T of TRUST. A short, vertical die scratch can be found between the upper U and S of TRUST. Reverse: A light die scratch runs nearly parallel to the lettering through the center of the U in UNITED almost to the rim. A small die gouge can be found to the right of the center of the D in UNITED. A small die gouge (dot) can be found below the 2nd S of STATES. A short, vertical die scratch can be found above the right side of the F in OF.
