1961 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

A close Class II spread towards the center shows best on the B and R of LIBERTY. Lesser doubling appears on some of the other letters of LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge can be found between the tops of the T and R in TRUST. A die gouge can be found at the rim below the first T in TRUST. Reverse: A die gouge can be found on the top left side of the N in UNITED.
