Error
Description
A very nice Class II spread towards the center shows on the letters of IGWT, the date, slightly on the letters of LIBERTY, and the hair at the top of the head. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Small Date. A strong vertical indentation runs through the nose and the lower nostril. Obverse Stage B: Same as Stage A. Reverse Stage A: The reverse of this variety is also a doubled die that is listed as WDDR-010 and also as CONECA 8-R-II. It shows a Class II spread towards the center on the letters of USA, ONE CENT, EPU, and the left side of the Memorial. A Class I CCW spread also shows on all design elements around the rim. Reverse Stage B: A new reverse die was paired with the obverse doubled die. The new reverse is not a doubled die.
