Description
A close spread shows on the designer’s initials, ONE CENT, and the lower letters in USA. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the chin. Obverse Stage B: The Stage A markers are much weaker, but are still visible. Reverse Stage A: A die scratch runs NW/SE above the L in PLURIBUS. A die scratch runs NE from the top left of the N in CENT. Reverse Stage B: Numerous die scratches run SW/NE through the last two Memorial bays and to the right of the Memorial. Obverse Stage A:
