Cross-referenced as CONECA 4-O-V and Coppercoins 1960P-1DO-005, WDDO-006 is a doubled die obverse on the 1960 Lincoln Memorial Cent Large Date business strike. The CONECA Class V designation identifies this as a pivoted hub doubling variety, where the hub was tilted during one of the impressions, causing design elements to show varying degrees of spread depending on their distance from the tilt axis. Cataloged by the Wexler Team as 1960 1c WDDO-006, this variety was produced during normal Philadelphia Mint operations on the Large Date subtype. Class V pivoted hub doubling creates a distinctive visual signature where the spread may appear strong on one side of the die and diminish progressively toward the pivot point, requiring collectors to examine multiple areas of the obverse to fully characterize the doubling.
