Description

The 1959 Proof Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-008 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1959 Proof Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Numerous die scratches can be seen in the last Memorial bay. A die gouge (dot) can be found near the rim above the N in UNITED. A die gouge can be found to the right of the upper 2nd S of STATES.
